Linda guides children into realizing their super powers and cultivating empathy with activities that include lessons on nature, nutrition, and the human body with an emphasis on engaging the imagination. She teaches lifelong skills to enhance focus, improve posture, and cope with stress through exploration of movement, breathwork, and self-reflection.
Kids will practice physical embodiment, processing emotions, and clear communication through games and exercises to develop self empowerment. Kids learn a combination of yoga, breathing exercises, self-reflection, and communication skills to establish a strong foundation, balance energy levels, and promote positive decision making.
Linda has extensive experience teaching children the power of produce and how to be at home in their own bodies. She has created and taught nutrition education curricula and mindful movement to kids and teens at community programs, public schools, summer programs, and yoga studios. She has collaborated with organizations such as Cooking Matters, City Harvest, Edible Schoolyard and more.
Previously, Linda was the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at UCLA’s Pediatric Fit program, an integrative medical program promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and psychosocial wellness for children and their families.
